The ideal pallet fork size for you depends heavily on the application you intend to use it for. Tines typically range in length from 42 to 60 inches and 2,000- to 10,000-pound load capacities. Most pallet forks allow you to adjust their width to fit your needs. Other features include brick guards for loose loads, hay spikes and frames compatible with trailer hitches. Should you require guidance to decide exactly which fork or other attachment you need, please don’t hesitate to request help from one of our experts.
Any changes affecting a forklift's capacity must have written approval from the company that made the forklift. This ensures operators stay within the unit's load limits, and using forklift extensions without this approval goes against OSHA regulations.
A forklift jib is an attachment for forklifts that turn them into versatile lifting machines. They are excellent for use in warehouses, workshops and factories where repetitive vertical lifting tasks are performed. Jib attachments should only be used on level ground to avoid accidents, and the operator must be trained and certified to use the forklift and the jib. Our own United Academy provides forklift operation certifications.
