How long should I let concrete set before using a power trowel? 

• The amount of time concrete takes to set depends on many factors including temperature, wind speed, humidity and more. In the right conditions, it can take as little as 20 minutes. The most important indicator that the concrete is set and ready for troweling is when all the water on the surface has dried.  

What is screeding concrete? 

• Screeding concrete is the process of smoothing out wet concrete into an even surface. This process is not intended to produce the final surface and is only the first step in the finishing process.
