United Rentals will provide guidance on how to prepare your site for a storage container or mobile office rental, but the site should be prepared in advance. To do this, clear the area of any hazards, make sure there is at least 120 feet of clearance in front of location and 14 feet above the location for unloading, and ensure there is proper groundwater drainage under the unit. United Rentals will deliver your storage or office unit to your jobsite and place it at your desired location and time. We will also add any requested customizations, modifications and accessories to your rental before delivery so your container is ready as soon as it is dropped off.
This depends on the storage container or mobile office you rent. Our regular storage containers have one lockable exterior door and come empty. Our mobile offices come with exterior doors, sliding windows, electric outlets, lighting, HVAC units and restrooms, depending on the unit. Additional modifications can be added, such as custom flooring and paint, extra doors, windows, rooms and more.
