Rent a drywall lift from United Rentals to easily attach drywall to your ceiling. Simply place the drywall sheet onto the lift's support hooks with the finished side facing down. Tip the sheet so that it is horizontal and use the lift to raise the drywall to the correct placement. Use a ladder to screw the drywall into place before lowering the lift.
A chain hoist can only be used for lifting and lowering loads along the vertical axis. Some of United Rentals’ air chain hoists can lift up to 100,000 pounds, making them a great choice for lifting heavy loads onto trucks for transport. However, a come-a-long is a hand-operated winch that can be used to pull, lift, drag or stretch heavy loads. Come-a-longs are best used in situations where you need to pull a heavy object, such as putting up a fence or removing a tree root. Need more help?
