How do holding tanks work?

Holding tanks are hooked up to portable restrooms to provide fresh water and contain wastewater. Fresh water holding tanks provide fresh water for the sinks, toilets and showers in porta potties, restroom trailers and shower trailers. Waste holding tanks contain the wastewater that comes from porta potties, restroom trailers and shower trailers.

How many holding tanks do I need per portable restroom?

A general rule of thumb is to have one waste holding tank for every 5-10 porta potties to allow guests to efficiently use the restroom throughout the day without the interruption of frequent service to the tanks.

What portable restrooms are holding tanks compatible with?

Both fresh water and waste holding tanks are compatible with porta potties, restroom trailers and shower trailers to contain wastewater and provide fresh water for sinks, toilets and showers. Porta potty containment trays are specifically designed for use with one-station porta potties.
