Tank mixing saves labor as it mixes fluids faster than by hand and automatic models save even more by keeping containers full and at stable temperatures while unattended. Tank mixing is also more accurate than hand mixing and safer because workers have less contact with concentrates.
Also known as wastewater pumps, sewage pumps or sludge pumps, trash pumps are designed to transport liquids that contain hard and soft solids, such as leaves, twigs, pebbles, silt and mud. Most trash pumps are centrifugal pumps. Although water pumps move liquid at a higher pressure than trash pumps, water pumps often jam when used to move murky water or water that contains pebbles or other solids.
