FAQs about Electric Scissor Lifts
Our fleet of electric scissor lifts is excellent for indoor use, as electrical power is readily available and the electric motor emits no toxic fumes. However, our selection is not exclusive to just indoor scissor lifts; some models can also be used in outdoor settings, provided there is a power source nearby.
We offer electric scissor lift rental options in various sizes, from small 10-foot to 13-foot scissor lifts to large 39-foot to 40-foot scissor lifts. The compact scissor lift rental options are better suited for indoor spaces with narrow aisles, while the taller models are best used in larger spaces. Our inventory includes scissor lift rentals from trusted manufacturers like Genie, Skyjack and JLG.

On average, most electric scissor lifts will take about eight hours to fully charge; however, some lifts may take upwards of 12 hours. Letting your electric scissor lift charge overnight is a good way to ensure your lift will be operating at 100% when you need it.
Electric scissor lifts are generally best suited for indoor settings with level surfaces; however, some of our models, such as this 30-foot to 35-foot scissor lift, comes with four-wheel drive and can handle moderately uneven outdoor surfaces. For more challenging terrain and wet outdoor conditions, look to our rough-terrain scissor lifts.
While the life span of an electric scissor lift battery tends to be inconsistent (between 6 and 48 months), the frame and platform should last about 30 years, provided the unit is well-maintained.
