How much light does my site need?

OSHA standards indicate specific rules for general construction and illumination of sites, maintenance areas, first aid stations, etc., based on foot-candle measurements. A general construction site needs approximately 10 foot-candles of illumination. To find out how many light towers your worksite needs, first determine how much light is needed and for how long.

Can a light tower be used as pump top?

Light towers are an essential piece of equipment to keep sites safe and projects moving to meet deadlines. However, there are different types of light towers with specific features and purposes. Our light tower rentals are not meant to be used as pump tops.
