Water Treatment Trailers: Additional temporary power during maintenance
Challenge:
Our customer was experiencing issues with their onsite water treatment facilities. During this time they brought rental water treatment trailers onsite to bypass their system while they made repairs. Sasol did not have enough onsite permanent power close to the area to run the trailers.
Solution:
2 x 300 kVA generators were provided with breakers and panels. The generators were synced together to load share. If one generator failed, the other would pick up the load and keep the system running without downtime.
During this time they brought rental water treatment trailers onsite to bypass their system while they made repairs. The customer however did not have enough onsite permanent power close to the area to run the trailers.
Benefits:
EO/EG Unit was able to remain online and become operational.
Significant cost savings were made thanks to the continuation of production, due to the temporary chiller system remaining in constant use.
