The Lamella Filter Tank design combines the easy mobilization of a standard tank, used for temporary and portable fluid storage, with the flexibility and effectiveness of a vertical plate Lamella clarifier design, which allows for larger settling areas in a more compact footprint. The Ins and Outs

A Fluid Solution engineer can work with you to determine settling and flow rates for different sludge types ahead of installation.  Once the system is installed, the water enters the Lamella Filter Tank through a flow breaker to reduce turbulence. This then passes through the lamella plates, where turbulence is further reduced and particles are allowed to meet each other. Flow then goes under the first weir, to retain any floating pollution that can be skimmed off and then over a second weir before discharge.  The units have three sludge removal points to allow sludge to be pumped out without interruption to your process.

Small but Mighty

A project of scale that could require a bank of separator tanks is no match for the lamella Filter Tank Insert. It’s fully modular and can accommodate flow rates of up to 150m³/h per unit so there’s no need to rent 5-6 settling tanks.
