This training provides a Virtual Classroom presentation, written test, hands-on practice, and skills testing session. The classroom portion focuses on key information needed for the safe operation of lift trucks typically used in a warehouse and/or distribution center. The hands-on portion provides the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment under the direct observation and coaching of our professional instructors. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. The training is not make or model specific but covers concepts common to ITA class 1, 2 & 3 lift trucks..

Training Topics



Upon completion of this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:

• Rules and regulations
• Lift truck basics
• Handling a lift truck load safely
• Stabilizing a lift truck and its load
• Transporting a load
• Operating a lift truck safely
• Pre-use inspection

Training requirements are: access to a computer, connection to the internet, and a basic knowledge of computers. This training must be successfully completed to attend the Practical Evaluation Program. A minimum of 70% is required to pass the theory test.



A web camera and functioning scanner are required for participation. A hands free device for your phone is highly suggested.
