This training provides a classroom presentation, written test, hands-on practice, and skills testing session. The classroom portion focuses on key information needed for the safe operation of lift trucks typically used in a warehouse and/or distribution center. The hands-on portion provides the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment under the direct observation and coaching of our professional instructors. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. The training is not make or model specific but covers concepts common to ITA class 1, 2 & 3 lift trucks.

Upon completion of this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:

• Rules and regulations
• Lift truck basics
• Handling a lift truck load safely
• Stabilizing a lift truck and its load
• Transporting a load
• Operating a lift truck safely
• Pre-use inspection

A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the closed book theory test.

This training program focuses on the needs of the “end user”, and upon successful completion, will provide an updated operator's certificate for each piece of equipment and a wallet card.
