Whether you need to stop depends on the usage, load weight and which state(s) you are driving in. Most states require commercial vehicles to stop at weigh stations. It’s best to research ahead of time to see if your truck and load require stopping. If you are still in doubt, pull over and stop at the weight station anyway; the officer on duty will wave you through if you are not required to stop.
According to the United Rentals Vehicle Rental section of our Rental and Service Terms (United States or Canada), the rental rate charged to the customer will include a specified number of miles per billing cycle. Please consult with a United Rentals expert to ensure you are clear of any mileage charges.
