What is the Supplier Diversity Program?
We do everything we can to ensure that diversely-owned businesses are afforded equal opportunity to participate in our procurement processes. To qualify for the United Rentals Supplier Diversity program, a company must be at least 51% owned, controlled, and managed by a minority, woman, veteran, service-disabled veteran, or be classified as a Hub Zone, small business, small disadvantaged or 8A Supplier.

We encourage both prospective and current suppliers who meet the eligibility requirements to complete a Supplier Profile using our Supplier Diversity system. What are next steps after submitting my Supplier Diversity application?
Once your application has been received, a member of our Supplier Diversity team will review your company’s information and coordinate with the appropriate Sourcing contact for your category. The Sourcing team will reach out to you if there are any opportunities in your specific category.
Will I be notified of business opportunities?
Yes, someone on the Sourcing team will reach out to you when an opportunity arises. United Rentals does not post it’s requests for proposals publicly but will utilize our supplier database to include suppliers that meet the requirements.
