Signs, signals, and barricades are important to the safety of the construction workers. Signs are used to warn about hazards that may not be easy to see. They are common in the work area, along the roadside, and in public buildings. OSHA has some specific requirements for signs. The requirements are in place to make sure hazard warnings are easy to recognize and don’t vary from workplace to workplace.

The main objective of this training is to teach you the OSHA regulations pertaining to signs, signals, and barricades.

• Know how to identify signs in the workplace.
• Be aware of when signs should be used.
• Know how to follow the procedures of the posted signage

This training program focuses on the needs of the “end user”, and upon successful completion, will provide an updated operator's certificate and wallet card.
