This online course prepares personnel to work with and around heavy equipment, from communication and signaling to equipment blind spots and operating characteristics.

At the end of the Equipment Spotter course, the learner will be able to:

• Describe when a spotter is needed.
• Describe spotter responsibilities.
• Understand duties of other personnel while performing spotter responsibilities.
• Understand equipment types and visibility limitations.
• Demonstrate spotter hand signals.

This training program focuses on the needs of the “end user”, and upon successful completion, will provide an updated operator's certificate and wallet card.
