This training provides a virtual classroom presentation, written test & in-person hands-on practice and skills testing session. The virtual classroom portion focuses on key information needed for safe operation of a skid steer loader. The in-person hands-on portion provides the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment under the direct observation and coaching of our professional instructors. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. The training is not make or model specific but covers concepts common to most types of skid steer loaders.

Upon completion of this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:

• Main parts and their functions
• Safety systems
• Pre-use inspection
• Safe operating procedures
• Limitations
• Hazards and controls

Training requirements are: access to a computer, connection to the internet, and a basic knowledge of computers. This training must be successfully completed to attend the Practical Evaluation Program. A minimum of 70% is required to pass the theory test.

A web camera and functioning scanner are required for participation. A hands free device for your phone is highly suggested.

This training program focuses on the needs of the “end user”, and upon successful completion, will provide an operator's certificate and a wallet card.
