This training only presents the theory and exam portions of Excavator and Backhoe training. This is not a full operator certification. For operator training, please choose one of our Instructor-Led, Blended or Virtual options.

This eLearning covers the theory and exam portions of excavator & backhoe loader training using an interactive online presentation. This online course can be accessed at your convenience and can be completed in multiple sessions.

Upon completion of this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:

• Excavator & backhoe loader basics
• Rules and regulations
• Types
• Main parts and their functions
• Safety systems
• Pre-use inspection
• Safe operating procedures
• Limitations, hazards and controls

Training requirements are: access to a computer, connection to the internet, and a basic knowledge of computers. A minimum of 70% is required to pass the theory test.
