These shields are designed and certified by Registered Professional Engineers too optimize strength-to-weight ratios while maintaining minimal sidewall thickness. The double wall construction increases the strength of the sidewall for maximum stability and eliminates sidewall deflection caused by ground pressure. Two, three or four-sided shields are available to meet job conditions.

Each United Rentals trench shield comes with tabulated data stamped by an RPE specifying the depth and soil conditions that the shield is designed to withstand. Custom sizes and high capacity shields are available upon request.
