Due to mold found in their indoor facility, a professional football team was forced to move their classroom training into a temporary tent structure while remediation was completed. One dilemma the team faced was how to provide climate control inside the tent in order to keep the players and coaching staff comfortable. The city where the facility was located experienced extremely variable temperature conditions, therefore consideration for both A/C and heat was required.

A team representative made contact with a Climate Solutions expert at United Rentals who immediately dropped by the facility to asses the layout of the tent in order to provide an appropriate solution. It was determined the best way to tackle the problem was to install (2) 12 ton mobile AC units with heat on the outside of the tents with duct work run to the inside. The units could then be simply set to AC or heat mode depending on the temperature outside.

Once the team representative gave the go ahead to proceed, the United Rentals Climate Solutions team had the equipment on site and installed that same day. The coaching staff and players were comfortable from that point forward and won their game the following weekend.
