United Rentals Amends Credit Facility

United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) today announced that the lenders under its secured credit facility have agreed the company may defer providing 2004 audited financial statements until June 29, 2005. The lenders also agreed to waive certain defaults arising from the company's delay in filing its 2004 Report on Form 10-K.
