Product description

With a tensioning capacity of 5,000 lbs. and 96" diameter reels, the bullwheel tensioner is a precise tensioning system. It's perfect for applications like tensioning cables and other elastic materials. A bronze disc brake measuring 36" in diameter is attached to a pair of 54" 5-groove bullwheels that have solid-cast, machined urethane linings. Right-hand lay, left-hand lay or twisted-pair conductors can all be accommodated by canting the bullwheels. United Rentals carries tensioners from trusted manufacturers like Sherman+Reilly and other reliable brands.
