We've made some changes to how we process credit card orders.

This change takes effect from July 12 2022 for online orders placed on www.unitedrentals.com

For customers paying online with a credit card, 24 hours before the rental your card will be charged a deposit for the full estimated rental (up to 28 days).

If you request automatic pickup and want to keep the equipment past the selected return time, please contact us 24 hours in advance to avoid being assessed a pickup charge if a truck is unnecessarily dispatched. 

If you keep equipment beyond the specified return date and have not contacted us to extend, United Rentals will charge your credit card each time a week’s revenue has accrued.
