Product description

The ground-level office container is a steel-frame office container that provides you with 10' of office space, two sliding windows and one door for easy access to your temporary workspace. This portable office includes weatherproof 14-gauge steel outside, insulated walls and ceiling inside, tile flooring, and electrical outlets to power your computers or other equipment. The container is ideal for small temporary offices on new construction sites, retail and other commercial applications when you need an instant workspace.

Delivery considerations

When you rent a mobile office from United Rentals, we use a tilt-bed truck to deliver it to your requested location. Before your office is delivered, it is important that you prepare the site, prepare for delivery and communicate with your United Rentals sales representative to ensure a smooth delivery to your site.

Transportation Requirements

Site preparation

  • Clear the flat, level area of any hazards, including vehicles, trees, equipment, sand, mud and other obstructions
  • Make sure there is at least 120 feet of clearance in front of the location and 14 feet of clearance above the location to allow for unloading without damaging the office
  • Ensure that the location allows for proper groundwater drainage to reduce water seepage through the floor

  • Schedule your delivery well in advance to guarantee you receive the office size you need when you need it
  • Tell your United Rentals representative the exact intended location and inform them of the location of nearby power lines, new structures and/or equipment
  • Tell your representative what direction you want the office to face when delivered

Communication

  • Communicate with your representative the day of the delivery so they can assist you with any questions or concerns
  • If you are unable to attend the delivery, make sure you are available by phone to answer any questions the driver may have
  • Contact your representative if you need to relocate your mobile office after the initial delivery
