Industrial Heat Exchangers

Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers

Typically used in high pressure and high temperature applications greater than 260 degrees F, shell & tub heat exchangers are the most common type of heat exchanger.  Shell & tube heat exchangers are ergonomically and robustly designed to provide reliable performing process cooling in harsh environments.  These heat exchanges can be built to spec and perform within a wide range of applications.

Shell & Plate Heat Exchangers

The shell & plate style heat exchangers combine the plate & frame with shell & tube heat exchanger technology to provide high temperature and high heat transfer.  The shell & plate heat exchangers contain a completely welded circular plate pack which transfers high heats in a compact size.  The shell & plate style heat exchanger offers high operating temperature functionality with low fouling and close approach temperatures.  It does all this without gaskets, proving leak free heat transfer at high pressures and temperatures in unstable environments and severe applications. 

Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers

The plate & frame heat exchangers offer larger cooling capacities with a smaller environmental impact and operational costs relative to other heat exchanger options.  These units are composed of several stacked, thin conduction plates, which are separated slightly to maximize surface area.  Shell and frame heat exchangers allow for high fluid velocities, promoting high heat transfer rates and reduced fouling.  Units are easy to open for trouble-free cleaning, maintenance, and inspection.  These units are best in moderate temperature and pressure applications, and function well in highly viscous fluid and slurry applications.
